MISSION

TO DEVELOP HAWAI`I'S CHILDREN INTO WORLD CLASS PEOPLE

Our mission at Ballistic Soccer Club Hawai`i (Ballistic) is to create a positive impact on the children of Mililani and surrounding areas through the “beautiful game” of soccer, and build life-enriching opportunities for players of all backgrounds and skill level.  We will strive to take an active role in the development Hawai`i’s children by not only teaching them skills that will benefit them in their soccer careers, but at home, in school, and beyond. Ultimately, our goal is to empower our players and coaches to reach their highest potential on and off the field. We hope to inspire them to become active leaders within their communities and serve as upstanding citizens of our community, state, and country.

VISION

WHERE ARE WE HEADED?

At Ballistic, we envision a community where our kids can be just that, kids.  Where fun and exciting learning is at the forefront of their priorities.  We eliminate the pressure and "win at all cost" mentality that has come to dominate youth athletics.  We strive to teach our kids how to love the game of soccer before they learn how to play.  We also aim to bring our club, teams, and families closer together.  The saying, "it takes a village to raise a child" is especially true in organized sports.  Our players not only receive the support of their coaches, but from their teammates and all families involved.

PHILOSOPHY

FOUR PILLARS OF DEVELOPMENT: TECHNICAL, TACTICAL, PHYSICAL, PSYCHOSOCIAL
(U.S. SOCCER CIRRICULUM)

Our coaching staff consists of people from all different backgrounds and soccer experience.  To include former college level players, high school coaches, and parents just wanting to be involved in their communities.

U.S. Soccer developed a "U.S. Soccer Curriculum" which is designed to improve development of players in the organized player base in the United States, concentrating on creating more organized, age-appropriate training sessions, developing coaching practices and creating an environment that is fun for the players.

We encourage the use of this program to ensure consistent development throughout our entire club.  However, our coaches are also trusted to develop their training plans and philosophies based on the needs of their players and team.  We do not micromanage our coaches into a "one size fits all" training plan that may work for some teams, and not others.  We strive to empower our coaches by providing this program to them, but encouraging them to adjust as necessary to meet the needs of their team.
